Project Details

This project carried out three technical upgrades on an 180,000 dwt Cape-sized bulk carrier: installation of PSV duct, installation of vortex elimination fins, and optimization modification of the propeller. After the modification, the propulsion system was optimized, the fuel efficiency of the main engine was improved, and the comprehensive fuel saving efficiency reached over 6%. The three technical upgrades obtained comprehensive and rapid approval from the classification society, ensuring the successful completion of the customer's project technical upgrade.
